Transparent Dermatology Care

At Lux Dermatology Hair & Skin Institute, we believe exceptional care should also be straightforward and transparent. We are committed to helping patients understand their coverage, benefits, and treatment costs before their visit whenever possible.

Even if we are not in-network with your insurance plan, many patients still have out-of-network coverage available.

Depending on your plan, you may still receive reimbursement for medically necessary dermatology services.

Our team can help provide:

  • Superbills upon request

  • Diagnosis and procedure codes

  • Documentation needed for reimbursement submission

Self-Pay Pricing

For patients without insurance coverage or those seeking direct-care services, we offer transparent self-pay pricing.

New Patient Medical Visit $200

Follow-Up Medical Visit $125

Cosmetic Consultation $100. May be applied toward treatment if performed that day

Additional procedures, biopsies, cosmetic treatments, and medications are priced separately.

Cosmetic Treatments & Insurance

Cosmetic treatments are not covered by insurance plans.

Examples may include:

  • Botox / Dysport

  • Dermal fillers

  • Laser treatments

If a concern is considered medically necessary, portions of treatment or evaluation may qualify for insurance coverage depending on your plan.

Hair Loss Coverage

Insurance coverage for hair loss evaluations varies depending on the diagnosis and treatment plan.

Medical management of hair loss conditions may qualify for insurance coverage, while cosmetic or regenerative treatments such as PRP, compounded growth serums, and certain procedures are typically self-pay.

Our team will discuss all costs and treatment options with you before proceeding.
