Yes. Virtual dermatology visits are available. Some conditions require in-person evaluation and will be rescheduled accordingly.

At this time, Lux Dermatology Hair & Skin Institute proudly accepts Cigna and Aetna insurance plans. We are currently expanding our network and are in the process of obtaining approval with additional insurance carriers to better serve our patients. Updates will be shared as credentialing is completed.

For visits outside of Cigna and Aetna coverage, appointments are offered on a self-pay basis, with transparent pricing provided prior to your visit.

Patients may choose to submit receipts to their insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement, depending on their plan. (this excludes medicare)

Insurance can still be used for lab/pathology orders and prescription medications.

• New patient (In person & virtual) medical visits are $200, and follow-up (In person & virtual) visits are $125.

• Skin cancer screening $175

• Cosmetic consultations $100 (fees go toward procedure if performed same day). Please see cosmetic services and hair restoration pages for pricing regarding cosmetic treatments.

• Excisions (benign and malignant) start at $350 depending on size of lesion being removed.

• Shave removal of lesion $100

• Punch excision of lesion $150

• Electrodessication and curettage (ED&C) $300

• Intralesional steroid injections $75

• Cryotherapy (up to 15 lesions) $150

Yes HSA/FSA can be used to cover services

We kindly request 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments are be subject to a $50 fee for medical and $100 fee for cosmetic appointments.
